Happy Chanuka everyone! Here I am with Doda Gila and Abba by the candles. I'm not really looking at the camera because I'm too busy looking at my first Chanuka present that Abba gave me tonight. Look, its fascinating! (those in the US might recognize it) Here is a family picture near Abba's Chanukia near our door!
Everyone came together to our house for Shabbat in honour of Gila's visit. It is so much fun for everyone to play together. Here are my cousins Temima and Adi. Here is me, Ima, Chanaya and Doda Ora. This afternoon we all had lots of fun in the park. I can't wait till everyone comes back!
My Doda Gila came all the way from South Africa to meet me! It is so nice to finally meet her. She slept in my room last night and the night before. You're welcome back any time!
My Ima invited her friend Abby and her son Netanel to visit on a Wednesday night. I can't believe it, do they really expect me to play with a boy! I guess he's not so bad. "Hey want to play with a cup?"
I like playing with the spices in the kitchen while Ima cooks. So far I've even tasted a few, garlic powder is a favorite! Guess its the Moroccan and Hungarian blood!
Hi there, its not summer yet, you're catching me in the middle of getting dressed. The changing table is so boring, I like to move around, so Ima and Abba get me dressed in my מיטה.
I've started eating lots of foods. One week I ate pasta and the next week I ate cheese, so the next step was one of Ima's favorite foods macaroni and cheese! Mmm! Despite first impressions, this is a happy look!
At the end of our trip it started to snow, and it didn't stop. I had never seen snow before. Abba hadn't ever seen snow Succot time! Because of the big snow early in the season, lots of branches broke and there was no power. So Ima, Abba Grandma, and Shmueli lit candles, played rummycub and toasted marshmellows over the flames. The power still hadn't come back when we went to the airport with Saba and Savta to fly back to Israel. Chutz l'aretz was fun. I'll be back!
In America I learned how to eat cheerios. First you pick them up, then you put them in your mouth, yummy! It was so entertaining that Dod Shmueli and Dod Elliot came to watch!
When we were in America we went to the zoo. I liked the monkeys and the Gemsbach the best. At the zoo we had a snack (all Shehakol of course) I had fun sitting on Abba, and playing with Dod Elliot.
